Keywords:
Nomophobia; Digital Education; LegislationAbstract
The article critically analyzes the gaps between the proposal for Digital Education in the Common National Curriculum Base and its implementation in Brazil, highlighting the lack of infrastructure and adequate teacher training. It addresses mediatization as a central phenomenon in contemporary socio-cultural transformations and relates it to nomophobia, a disorder marked by the irrational fear of being without a cell phone, which is increasingly present among young people and students. The research is based on national and international data, pointing to high rates of digital addiction and its consequences for mental health and school performance. Law 15.100/2025 is an attempt to regulate the use of mobile devices in schools, but the study shows that its effectiveness depends on complementary policies that offer psychological support, teacher training and inclusive pedagogical strategies. As a contribution, the work proposes an interdisciplinary reflection between education, health and technology, highlighting the need for practices that promote the critical and balanced use of media in the school environment.
