Generative Artificial Intelligence and the Fetishization of Fashion images

Highlighting the academic relevance of the debate on generative Artificial Intelligence applied to creative initiatives, this article will analyze three artificially generated fashion illustrations published on the Instagram profile A.I. World Magazine, from the perspective that the use of the tool produces images whose symbolic potential is capable of reverberating in the collective imagination, causing detachment and fascination. The aim is to prove the thesis that, when applied to artistic productions, generative AI becomes a tool that facilitates the processes of image fetishization.
