Black movement on the way to mediatization: notes on mediatized social practices of the Black Coalition for Rights

This text proposes a reflection about the mediatization of social practices and organized black movement discourses to obtain their visibility in hegemonic and socio-digital media. The analysis starts from the identification of the recent change from a position of refusal of the socio-technical mediations of the media to the attempts of interaction with the journalism of reference and contacts with institutions and individuals in circuits on the social networks. In this context, we study the attempts to make discourses of the historical movements on the fight against racism visible in two communication campaigns of the Black Coalition for Rights: Targets of Genocide; and, As long as there is racism, there will be no democracy.
