Abstract

This article discusses the circulation of news broadcasts and their content
through posts on social networks based on framing theory, assuming an interconnection
with the concept of mediatization. The objective is to understand the profile: which,
how many, and how the posts occur on the Instagram social network of the TV Tapajós
news broadcasts from the 1st and 2nd editions, based in Santarém - PA, an affiliate of
Rede Globo de Televisão. Regarding methodology, we used bibliographic research
(Stumpf, 2005). Utilizing the case study approach of Yin (2001) and a quantitative-
qualitative approach (Minayo, 2002) with online observation (Johnson, 2010). Our
problem is to understand how the framing direction of journalistic postings was
established and how these were directed through media effects in a mediatized society.
