Interactional circuiting processes: Political and communicational disputes led by Pope Francis
Keywords:
Pope Francis; Circulation; Circuitry.Abstract
Based on what I call Pope Francis' communicative action, this article comprises an exploratory exercise on the object of doctoral research. The objective is to observe - in the empirical materialities - how media processes contextualize the differentiation of circuits, including the emergence of paradoxes, and also to observe the interactional logic of the circuit process, a concept under development. For this essay the episode to be observed has as its theme a saying by the pope about homosexuality. The inferences presented here are the result of an indicative look at the object, which in turn weaves heuristic relationships and attempts with possible epistemologies. These will be further investigated as the evidence is being raised by the empirical object.
