Abstract

This article addresses aspects of an ongoing research that aims to unveil the conditions that animate the reconfiguration of journalistic covers from innovative elements in mediatized society. It is studied how the cover of a magazine and newspaper, considered an element that was substantial for the journalistic activity since its inception, comes to be treated in times of digital convergence. Issues that circumscribe the investigation pervade the relevance of covers in the (re) constitution of editorial identity of said activity and in the factors that drive the production of journalistic covers today.
